"Process - Space" is an international festival of contemporary art, founded in 1992 by Dimitar Grozdanov as a major result of the natural development of alternative cultural institutions in Bulgaria. This is one of the few structures of contemporary art managed to preserve and develop without interruption in the rapidly changing cultural and political space of the past 25 years in the country. The festival is having with his perseverance, vision and diversity of artists and authors. Over the years we organized over 120 exhibitions, many seminars and actions, and its collection includes works by over 500 artists from 65 countries.

On April 22, 2016 in the exhibition halls "Rafael Mihailov" in Veliko Tarnovo was opened an exhibition of selected part of the collection of the festival, which will continue within one month. This is the first of a series of events marking the 25th anniversary of the festival "Process - Space", which this year will be held in three major cities in the country - Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse and Balchik. Some authors such as Leo Ray (Israel), Erik Tönsberg (Sweden / Spain), Elizabeth de Monchaux (UK), Gönül Nuhoğlu (Turkey), Mariann Imre (Hungary) and others are among the most famous names in the international art scene. To be pointed out, there are authors made their first steps precisely at "Process - Space", which makes his collection especially valuable. The exhibition includes paintings, prints, installations, sculpture. Video projections represent actions, performances, workshops and more.
